The newest Pittsburgh modern home from Cipriani Studios is a hilltop residence on Mt. Washington designed to feel like a personal wellness retreat. This out-of-town client approached the studio to create a Pittsburgh modern home with abundant natural light, open space and a relaxing atmosphere. Our design features 4,000 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and a 3-car garage. It’s also designed to preserve the views of neighbors further uphill.

The outside will be clad in high-end composite cement panels – mainly white, with wood-look accents. The owners, who travel often, wanted something modern and minimalist yet low-maintenance, and this unique material meets all of those requirements.

You enter the Emerald Ridge House on level two, home to various living areas and a guest suite with its own private terrace. The main common areas and owner’s suite are on the lower level, all connected by the large pool deck. The layout is geared toward a flowing, indoor-outdoor lifestyle where people eat, swim and relax against a backdrop of panoramic downtown views.
